Answer: Option (c) Daughter.

Explanation:

A guy, when he says, “My daughter’s mother”, he is referring to his wife.
A lady, when she says, “My daughter’s mother”, she is referring to herself.

Based on the options given, we can safely assume that it’s not a guy – there is no option for son, father, grandfather, grandson, etc.

So, when a lady says, “My daughter’s mother”, she is actually referring to herself (or ‘me’). And, if we rephrase the sentence, it becomes, “If Tina’s daughter is me, who am I to Tina?”

  1. This is wrong, the story is Tina had a daughter, who had a daughter, and the answer says that you would be the mother, but that’s not right, there has to be a guy in the situation. Tina’s daughter would be your wife, so her mother would be your mother-in-law. Which would make you Tina’s son-in-law, or son if we’re keeping it simple.
