This is an alternating subtraction series, which subtracts 5, then 2, then 5, and so on.
So the series will be;
36 – 5 = 31;
31 – 2 = 29;
29 – 5 = 24;
24 – 2 = 22;
22 – 5 = 17;
17 – 2 = 15
Therefore the next 2 numbers will be;
15 – 5 = 10 &
10 – 2 = 8
Answer = 10 & 8
