Upon receiving his salary, he called all of them.
He had $100 with him to distribute among his children.
He decided to start with the youngest child.
He then gives additional $ 2 to each elder child.
Such that the eldest child receives $ 12 more than the youngest.

if he gives $x to the youngest child, he will give $(x+2) to the next one, $[(x+2) + 2] to the next one and so on.
So if we go on adding x, x+2, x+4, x+6,x+8, x+10, x+12,
Then the final equation is 7x+42 and he has Rs.100 so;
Solving this equation;
7x = 58
Therefore x = $ 8.2
Youngest child gets $ 8.2
