From the given information we know the areas of 3 sides of the rectangular box.
Let us consider;
Length = L,
Breath = B &
Height = H
Now we know the area of rectangle is length x breath.
So we can write,
L x B = 240 ….(a)
L x H = 300….(b)
B * H = 180….(c)
Let us multiply these the three equations (a), (b) and (c);
(L x B) (L x H) (B x H) = 240 x 300 x 180
L^2 x B ^2 x H^2 = 12960000
(L x B x H)^2 = 12960000
L x B x H= 3600
Now we know that P*Q = 240
From (a) we can write;
240 x H = 3600
Thus H = 3600/240 = 15.
Similarly we can find the values of L and B;
Therefore we get
L = 20 units
B = 12 units and
H = 15 units
